Spring is in the air

Updated: Feb 7, 2023

Spring is definitely in the air. All of our hard work planting in the Autumn

Is paying off with spears of vivid lime green shooting up from the dark brown leaf mush. We can just about recognise the different shapes from daffodils to crocus’ and hyacinth to snowdrops. A source of hope and optimism in the darker months. Who doesn’t love daffodils? They brighten up the room. Ephemeral in nature but perfect none the less.

Now is the time to start thinking about spring planting bulbs for summer flowers. Gladioli, flag irises and lupins. All offer structure and height for the bed. Architectural shapes and delightful foliage.

Check out our bulbs and seeds in the shop. Happy planting.
