If you are interested in new gemstones, consider the stunning Amazonite gemstone with its rich blue and green hues. Amazonite gemstones get their name from the Amazon River, colloquially called the Amazon Stone. However, the gems do not originate near the Amazon River. The rumor that started the name Amazon Stone came from the 19th century when it was believed that this crystal only existed near the Amazon River. However, no Amazonite gemstones have ever been found near or in the Amazon River.

At one point in its history, Amazonite was given the name “Amazon Jade” to try and associate the gemstone with Jade gemstones and increase its value. Amazonite has been known as a stone to produce truth and courage throughout history. It was vital to the ancient Egyptians who wore it in handcrafted ornamental pieces. Sometimes ancient Egyptians carved messages into stone slabs from Amazonite.

Current scholarship traces the development of the Rosary to the High Middle Ages period. The month of October each year is dedicated to the Most Holy Rosary. This is primarily due to the fact that the liturgical feast of Our Lady of the Rosary is celebrated annually on October 7. It was instituted to honour the Blessed Virgin Mary in gratitude for the protection that she gives the Church in answer to the praying of the Rosary by the faithful.

The feast was introduced by Pope St. Pius V (1504-1572) in the year 1571 to commemorate the miraculous victory of the Christian forces in the Battle of Lepanto on October 7, 1571. The pope attributed more to the "arms" of the Rosary than the power of cannons and the valour of the soldiers who fought there.

Legend tells us that the Rosary as a form of prayer was given to St. Dominic (1170-1221) by Mary, the Mother of Our Lord, who entrusted it to him as an aid in the conflicts with the Albigensians. The Dominican pope, St. Pius V, did much to further the spread of the Rosary and it thereafter became one of the most popular devotions in Christendom. It was the same Pope St. Pius V, who in 1569 officially approved the Rosary in its present form with the Papal Bull, Consueverunt Romani Pontifices. It had been completed by the addition of the second half of the "Hail Mary" and the "Glory be to the Father" at the conclusion of each mystery.

The Rosary is primarily a scriptural prayer. This can be summarised by the traditional phrase used by Pope Pius XII (papacy: 1939-1958) that the Rosary is " a compendium of the entire Gospel”. The Rosary draws its mysteries from the New Testament and is centred on the great events of the Incarnation and Redemption.

John Paul II called the Rosary his favourite prayer, in which we meditate with Mary upon the mysteries which she as a mother meditated on in her heart.

I have never seen a higher quality rosary before. I'm new to the faith so I thought it was about time I got one for myself, and with saving up enough to get it I was ecstatic and so excited. Unfortunately I had some issues with it getting here on the estimated time, HOWEVER, that is not the fault of the shop whatsoever and with their exceedingly high quality customer service I was blown away. Either way, it came today and the colors, the feel, the energy is out of this world. I cried because it just looks exactly like what I imagined, sleek, elegant, exactly to the images specifications on the store page. If you are like me and you love crystals, and the looks of them, you feel a pull to get it do it, don't hesitate. I can't wait to use mine for the first time. You do also get a fun little pouch to keep it in. Thank you!!!!!!!

Although I didn't receive the rosary, I am sure it is of high quality. They have tried twice to help with customer service but unfortunately ordering from another country is bound to have its flaws or even the possibility of getting lost in transport. I waited almost a month to receive so I'll guess I'll keep waiting. Refund option hasn't worked, and I'm not hearing any more responses from the company or Etsy. I refuse to leave a negative review for they were helpful from start to finish of ordering & it's out of their hands when traveling from their country to the United States. I'll just leave this in gods hands! 🙏🏻

The picture really does not do the beads justice, they are utterly stunning in real life and beautifully crafted. Bought for my daughters First Holy Communion, seller made sure they got to us before the day. Most importantly my wee one was so taken with the colours and loves everything about them, she is over the moon that they are hers!

Such an absolutely gorgeous piece! It far exceeded my expectations. Great weight to it. Beautiful lapis beads and metal work. Exactly what I wanted! And the shipping was incredibly fast especially considering that it came from across the pond. Will definitely purchase from this seller again. Thank you!
