Jade Anglican Rosary with Carndonagh Cross
This handmade Anglican rosary is a prayerful tribute to the sacred landscapes of Ireland and the enduring traditions of Christian pilgrimage. Crafted in Scotland with care and devotion, each rosary features 8mm smooth jade beads—symbolic of peace, wisdom, and spiritual balance. The natural green tones evoke the rolling hills and sacred wells of the Irish countryside, grounding the user in a rhythm of reflective prayer.
At its centre is a striking replica of the Carndonagh Cross, one of the oldest High Crosses in Ireland, located in County Donegal. The original, dating from the 7th century, is adorned with intricate early Christian carvings, including Christ and the Four Evangelists. This beautifully detailed replica cross is cast in antiqued brass, adding a warm, vintage patina that honours its historic roots.
The rosary’s design is inspired by centuries-old pilgrimage paths travelled by saints and seekers alike—from Glendalough to Croagh Patrick. It is not only a tool for Anglican prayer but also a piece of devotional art, connecting its bearer to a deep tradition of prayer, journey, and spiritual encounter. This rosary invites you to carry the heritage of Celtic faith in your hands and heart with every prayerful bead.

Reviews
Bought as a gift, it is absolutely beautiful and the intended recipient will love it. It’s beautifully made and was presented very nicely, in a bag including a quick guide to praying with a rosary (can’t confess to know much myself but it looks useful!) and wrapped in tissue paper. Fast delivery too. Definitely recommend, thank you!
I received a wonderful set of rosary beads with a large at patrick coin on it and a beautiful celtic cross...i was so impressed by the quality and craftmanship. The engraving i had done on it was also neat, the perfect size and stood out elegantly in silver against the brass. I will be ordering from this shop again. Thank you xx
