This medal, inscribed with the initials "INRI," serves as a reminder of Jesus's crucifixion and the inscription placed on his cross, "Iesus Nazarenus, Rex Iudaeorum" (Jesus of Nazareth, King of the Jews). It ties the rosary to the profound sacrifice of Christ.
