Iona Saint Martin’s Cross Paracord Rosary

This handheld Anglican and Episcopal rosary is a quiet, tactile companion for prayer: antiqued-brass beads, deep green cord and our artistic impression of the double-sided Saint Martin’s Cross from the Isle of Iona, assembled by hand in my Paisley workshop.
It measures 30 cm around the loop and will not fit over the head. It is made to be held in the hand for prayer, carried in a pocket or bag, or kept close while travelling — it is not a necklace.
The design belongs to the Iona landscape that inspired it — stone, moss, weather and the long practice of carrying prayer with us. The warm brass and green cord are deliberately modest rather than ornamental, giving the rosary a grounded, traditional character in the hand.
It follows the Anglican pattern of weekly and cruciform beads, with the lower stem leading to the Saint Martin’s Cross. Use it for the Anglican rosary prayers, your own repeated prayers, Scripture meditation, or simply as a small companion in times of stillness and travel.

The cross takes its name from Saint Martin’s Cross on Iona, one of the island’s enduring landmarks of Christian pilgrimage. This piece is made for prayer, for the pocket or bag, and for the pilgrim path.
