I have given this item four stars instead of five, for only one reason, upon arrival I could not physically unscrew the Matryoshka doll to expose any of the others at all. It was stuck dead fast, there was paint covering the join line on the back of the doll too. My partner managed in the end after scoring the paint line and persisting, but it was so tight we couldn't then get the largest doll back together - so have left the collection separate. All the other smaller dolls are absolutely fine, and the design and colour and finish is very smooth. They look as a whole, adorable and I'm pleased in every other way.
