The crucifix depicts Christ in the San Damiano icon associated with Saint Francis of Assisi. Its reverse carries ASSISI, a Latin blessing, the Tau and a Franciscan emblem.
Natural variation in the green tiger's eye gives each rosary its own pattern and depth of colour.
