Saint Francis Tau Cross Anglican Rosary - Purple Agate

Made for the quiet rhythm of prayer, these purple agate Anglican prayer beads bring together dusky natural stone, richly antiqued brass and a substantial Saint Francis Tau cross.
 
Saint Francis belongs to the shared Christian inheritance from before our divisions. He adopted the simple Tau as a Christ-centred sign of renewal, peace and faithful living. Here, the richly detailed cross gives the rosary the character of an older devotional piece—something carried, held and returned to through years of prayer.
 
The natural purple agate moves through soft lilac, smoky plum and grey. Paired with antiqued brass, it creates a beautifully muted, vintage-inspired aesthetic.
 
This is a traditional 33-bead Anglican or Episcopal rosary, arranged as four groups of seven “Weeks” separated by Cruciform beads. It is a substantial handheld prayer piece rather than a necklace.

NATURAL MATERIALS
Purple agate is a natural stone. Each bead has its own patterning, with gentle variations in colour, translucency and markings forming part of its character. Antiqued brass has an intentionally aged finish and may continue to develop a deeper patina through handling.
 
CARE
Keep the beads dry and avoid perfume, sprays and household chemicals. Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth. As with any handmade devotional piece, please hold and use it with care rather than pulling or swinging it by the cross.
